I don't usually take Chendol but the non-stop people patronizing this stall caught my attention when I was having hor fun from a stall in the same row. Not a bad one I would say, the grated ice was smooth and melted fast enough it doesn't spill over the bowl easily like whenever having any ice grated dessert.
This is one of the most famous places in Singapore for chendol, although in my opinion there are better ones for the same price. The flavor and all the toppings were good, but the portion felt a bit small compared with some other chendols I had in Singapore. It's still a perfect dessert to cool down a bit on a hot day in Singapore
This hawker is located deep inside the bustling Chinatown people complex, so it's not the easiest to find it. I got there right around the opening time, so there were plenty of empty tables

🍧Dessert wise: Tasted quite alright, sweetness just nice, had thick gula melaka and soft red beans, the rice flour jelly wasn’t quite right for me. This Chendol is definitely better most of the Chendol sold out there, the standard was nearing the Nyonya Chendol.
✨ Ambience wise: Busy hawker centre!
🤵🏻 Service wise: Aunty was just busy!
💵 Price wise: $2.50

Chendol is a dessert consisting of shaved iced, coconut milk, gula melaka (coconut palm sugar) and the green noodle jelly which is made from rice flour and is usually flavoured with pandan. There is usually the option to add on sweet corn, red bean or durian ice cream.
The coconut milk was rich, the gula melaka was fragrant, the pandan jelly had a delightful pandan scent and just the right softness and the red beans was thick, soft and still held on to its shape for some bite. An amazing dessert on a hot day.
Service was quick and it took less than a minute from ordering to me receiving this tasty bowl of chendol.
Chinatown Complex Market and Food Centre is an extremely busy and large hawker due to it being located in Chinatown, a very popular tourist destination. Only managed to find a seat deep within the hawker centre and it took me a good minute of walking between the stall and my seat before I could enjoy my chendol and because of that, my chendol had sadly started to melt a little.
One of the best cendol in SG. The ice is smooth and not clumpy, the cendol pandan is tasty, coconut milk in fresh, and the melaka sugar is not bitter. $2.5 in a small bowl, just perfect portion for a refreshing dessert. Highly recommended.
Taste seems off, couldn't taste the coconut milk and the gula melaka has no sweetness. Maybe this is a style that I am not familiar with.
Not too sweet. And it's very cooling and refreshing after a long walk in Chinatown.
Queue for 10min. I think my only post that I don't have to write what I buy and how much I paid. I can get 4 bowls of this if I get 2 scoops of udders with cash to spare.
I only don't like the first scope when coconut milk wasn't well mixed. So mix!Other than that it was ice cool sweet like how a dessert should be. Just made me want another bowl after finishing the first
